The Tasha Energy MD-PT solar floodlight is an affordable outdoor security light that charges from the sun by day and lights up automatically at night. Good for compounds, gates and walkways where NEPA supply is unreliable. Note: as with most solar floodlights, the 400W figure is the product rating, not the actual power draw.
Key Features
- All-night lighting with no NEPA bill: charges from its own solar panel by day
- Automatic dusk-to-dawn operation (light sensor)
- Weather-resistant housing for outdoor use
- No cabling to the mains needed: easy to install on walls and poles
- IP65 weather protection (marked on the MD-PT series housing)
- Battery level indicator on the light
