EnLightened Minds
The EnLightened Minds programme is a solution aimed at transforming the learning and teaching experiences of students, pupils and teachers in schools located in rural and general areas where there is no electricity supply.
Schools without electricity often struggle with unmotivated teachers and students who abandon lectures for reasons as simple as poor lighting during cloudy periods and evenings, in poorly lit and unventilated classrooms and offices. The ultimate aim is to push the needle rightwards in national and regional exam results by igniting the genius in these students and pupils.
The programme is anchored on the public-private partnership philosophy, to ensure deeper and wider penetration within the rural areas where many of these public schools are located.
